  4. How did we get our start?

    Foxtail was originally made by Klutz Press in 1996. After Klutz was acquired by Scholastic the Foxtail fell off of the market for years, Cassidy Labs found the original inventor and they relaunched it! Their goal was simple: keep the iconic toy and brand alive, and stay true to it's quality construction and wholesome roots.

    Did you change anything from the originals?

    Nope! The Foxtail Sport and the Foxtail Softie are exactly as they were in the 90s. High quality materials and construction that will last for years and years of regular use (sometimes decades).

  5. Foxtail Sport

    The Sport is the original Foxtail you probably remember from your childhood. It has a leather baseball at the end.

    Foxtail Softie

    The Foxtail Softie was also made in the 90s, and is aimed at a younger audience. It's got a soft, bonk-the-brother-safe ball at the end. No tears and perfect for working on your hand eye coordination.

    Foxtail LED

    This Foxtail is new, and has a few glowing LEDs inside of a foam ball. It's a bit heavier than the Foxtail Softie and so can fly a little farther. It's perfect for games of catch that stretch into the evening.

  • That would be the Foxtail Sport! It has a leather baseball at the end. It's still made the same way it was in the 90s.

  • If they're under the age of 8, we recommend either the Foxtail Softie or the Foxtail LED. Both of these have soft foam balls so they don't hurt to get hit with. The tradeoff is that they don't throw quite as far, which can be a good thing for kids.

  • Foxtail is a great throw and catch game for kids and adults. No mitts or gloves required! Just spin to throw, and catch by the tail! You can play with points or just toss and catch.
